Manchester United striker, Wayne Rooney, supports Arsenal star Robin van Persie(RVP), to win the PFA Player of the Year this year. Although his name is also enter the nominee, Rooney rate that Dutch striker was more worthy of that title.
Van Persie and Rooney are known as the sharpness attacker in the Premiere League. They continue to compete to be top scorer for this season. For a while, Van Persie lead the top scorer table with 27 goals.
Apart from Rooney and Van Persie, another nominee for this title was Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Scott Parker, and the trio Manchester City (Sergio Aguero, Joe Hart, and David Silva). This title will be announced in London on Sunday (4/22/2012).
"Very pleased to be entering into a nominee. Actually the title is very nice to be won and your job during this season will bring you to that degree. However, compared to the others, Van Persie will be more likely to win it," Rooney said as reported by the MirrorFootball.
In addition to the PFA Player of the Year, will be there also the title Young Player of the Year. Nominee category was filled by Aguero, Danny Welbeck (Manchester United),Daniel Sturridge (Chelsea), Alex Oxlade Chamberlain (Arsenal), Kyle Walker (TottenhamHotspur), and Gareth Bale (Tottenham Hotspur)
