Manchester United finally secure Young signature for five year deal contract. Ashley Young's move to Manchester United, for a reported £16million fee. Before move to Old Trafford, Young's also targeted by Liverpool.
A statement from Manchester United official website said, "Manchester United is delighted to announce it has reached agreement with Aston Villa for the transfer of Ashley Young. The player passed a medical in Manchester this week and has agreed a five-year contract."
Manchester United centre back, Rio Ferdinand is very pleased for this transfer. He wrote on his twitter account, "Welcoming Ashley Young to Manchester United. Another top, hungry and young player joins the ranks."
Ashley Young is the 2nd player that has moved to Old Trafford for this transfer window season. Before him, Ferguson has capture Phil Jones from Blacburn.
